Charles English is a Grammy-nominated producer, guitarist, composer, and musical director for the country and southern rock band Alabama. English has won a Dove Award from the Gospel Music Association (GMA), and has a bachelor's degree in Music Theory/Composition and Classical Guitar Performance from The University of Texas. He has collaborated professionally with some of the biggest acts around, including Alison Krauss, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Alden, Trisha Yearwood, Eli Young Band, Charlie Daniels, Aerosmith, Rob Cavallo, Roger Nichols, Jimmy Ienner, and more.
English's songs have been featured in movies, like 2012's "Foodfight" starring Charlie Sheen, Eva Longoria, and Ben Stiller, and during his esteemed career English has produced music for some of the most prestigious studio houses in the business, like Walt Disney/Hollywood Records, EMI Music, Sony, Dreamworks, MCA, and Universal.
English co-founded Music Brothers Productions in Nashville, Tenn., along with Alabama bandmate, Teddy Gentry, where they specialize in artist development. English is also an avid Mogami cable user.
